Emily Hickman, FCPI

Sugar Land

Emily Hickman, FCPI, graduated from Texas A&M University in 2007 with a bachelor of science degree in Early Education. She spent eight years teaching first and second grade in Fort Bend, but in 2015 she resigned from teaching to become a stay-at-home mom and FertilityCareTM Practitioner. Emily adores her faith, people, and teaching. Being a FertilityCareTM practitioner embodies these three passions effortlessly.

In January of 2014, she and her husband John attended their first intro session with the Creighton Model. They were blown away with how beautifully God’s design and fertility were woven together. When choosing an approach to naturally plan their family, they were looking for something that integrated their faith and still had a multitude of scientific research they could understand and apply easily in their day-to-day lives. John and Emily desired a system that respected their natural fertility, explained the whys and what-ifs, and was presented in a one-on-one setting. Creighton became an integral part of their connection as husband and wife.

Emily grew up believing that family was everything. Throughout the years, that mission statement has had several different meanings. Now, being a wife to John and mother to Waid, it has never been clearer that through the family one learns to love God more fully. She currently lives in Sugar Land with her husband, son, and dog.
